Dr. Florian Osselin

Florian Osselin is the co-founder and CSO of Vema Hydrogen, a startup developing a disruptive hydrogen technology: Engineered Mineral Hydrogen. Vema is launching the first EMH projects in Québec, and is a world leader in this technology, which Florian Osselin invented. Florian holds a PhD and is a former academic researcher with more than 10 years’ experience in physical-chemistry and water-rock interactions for subsurface applications in France, Canada and Poland. He wrote the seminal paper on Stimulated Geologic Hydrogen in Nature Geosciences in 2022 before creating Vema in 2024 along with seasoned entrepreneur Pierre Levin and CEO.
