Registration

The registration for CouFrac 2026 includes access to the conference from 21–23 September, the welcome reception on 20 September, as well as coffee and lunch during the conference days. Tickets for the conference banquet at Uppsala Castle can be purchased at an extra cost.

Registration fees

All prices are stated inclusive of 25% VAT.
Early bird fees are available until 20 June at 23:59 (CEST, UTC+2).
Exchange rates may vary. For current exchange rates, please refer to, for example, www.oanda.com.

Participants from Sweden

Participants from Sweden can choose to pay either by credit card or invoice. Invoices will be sent as electronic invoices (e-faktura) when possible, or as PDF attachments via email.

Participants from outside Sweden

All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish Krona). Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer (invoice). Bank transfer is available until 3 August 2026

Invoice for bank transfer

Upon selecting this payment method, an invoice with bank transfer details (such as bank account number, IBAN, etc.) will be sent. The invoice is generated manually and is typically sent within a few days of registration.

The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges or fees related to the payment.

Credit card payment

We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.

For your security, our payment system is integrated with 3D Secure to protect online transactions. Your card must be enrolled in Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. If you’re unsure whether your card is connected, please contact your bank for confirmation and guidance on how to enroll.

According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees. This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.

Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations “statliga myndigheter” (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.

For payment by credit card, VAT will always be charged, also for participants from “statliga myndigheter”.
